WGN-TV is seeking a Production Intern. Internship pays minimum wage and lasts 8-12 weeks.
Interns are considered trainees and not employees under the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1973.
Intern will assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sports Production Department. Including, but not limited to, assisting with pre-production work for various live remotes (parades, specials and sporting events) screening and dubbing tapes, maintaining the departments tape library and helping with general office duties i.e. copying, filing, etc.
Candidates must be reliable, organized, and possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in word and excel helpful. Sports knowledge is a plus.

– Must be 18 or older and a registered student in good standing at an accredited college or university.
– Must be able to work the hours required by department.
– Students can receive university or college credit for participating in this program but need to handle paperwork involved
Internships pays state minimum wage.
Four Internship Sessions (limited to 1 session per calendar year)
Fall (8-12 Weeks)
Winter (8-10 Weeks)
Spring (8-12 Weeks)
Summer (8-12 Weeks)
