  • Overview

    CBS 6 WTVR - Richmond, Virginia - seeks a full-time Associate Producer to join the Local Programming team. The Associate Producer will identify features, book guests, conduct research for and script segments, coordinate field production, edit and line-produce LIVE content, and other duties as assigned by the Executive Producer.


    Position requires excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability working in a control room producing live programming, ability to identify quality content, make quick, editorially sound decisions under tight deadlines and non-linear editing capabilities.


    Undergraduate degree in Communications preferred with 2-3 years of experience producing news/live television.
