The primary focus of the Administrative Assistant is to provide support for the General Manager by completing reports, managing projects, planning meetings, making appointments, & handling correspondence, usually of a confidential nature.
Three to five years’ experience in supporting executive-level associates. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience strongly preferred. Experience in typing, filing, scheduling and working with computers. Must have verbal and written communication skills. Ability to handle confidential information. Organizational skills including task prioritization with minimal supervision and ability to complete required tasks by given deadline; strong proactive approach, taking initiative where appropriate, and looking beyond the immediate task to anticipate a future need or requirement. Familiarity with virtual meeting solutions, including conferencing technology, webinar, and other tools. Must possess a valid Tennessee Driver's License (or be able to get one). Individual must also have knowledge of the Internet.
Dexterity to operate typewriter, computer, and other such equipment. Ability to maintain office files and distribute memos, etc. throughout the building, lifts up to 20 pounds, where necessary.
